Bishamon-do

The temple of the temple of Tendai sect. It is one of the Seven Lucky Gods and makes Bishamonten a Honjyo. It was rebuilt in my current location by Amemasa Tenhami and his disciple Hiromu Oshimi in 1665 (Hirofumi 5) in 703 (Takara 3) row foundation. Parents living alternatively for the principal. Kawano Masinobu’s “moving fusuma painting” which decorates the shrine is famous. In the spring, the cherry blossoms other than the age of more than 150 years old cherry blossoms are in full bloom, autumn is autumn leaves and the precincts become colorful.
The various buildings in the precincts are precious remains that convey the landscape peculiar to the monastery temples of the modern era, many of which are designated as tangible cultural properties of Kyoto city. Located on the hillside overlooking the Yamashina Basin, spring cherry blossoms, fall foliage in autumn are also famous Kyo attractions that people who know.
